Kim Yam Group (“KY”) founded in 1998 and headquartered in Malaysia. KY is not only a dominant player in Asia, but also a leading company operating worldwide.

Kim Yam’s business activities include Food Business, Agribusiness, Aquaculture Business (seafood), Logistics, Retail Chain, Food grade plastic industry. It has over 30 manufacturing plants with a total of 3,920,000 square feet. In addition, it has more than 500 production lines in Malaysia. The group has a multinational workforce with about 9,000 people. To date, it has introduced a first grade fully automated production line. This allows manufacturing sequences with entirely different process steps to be completed in a fully automated fashion. This kind of flexibility delivers a host of benefits: facilitating shorter lead times and a tighter link between supply and demand, accelerating new product introduction, and simplifying the manufacture of highly customized products. Kim Yam’s high quality processed products are the preferred choice for consumers and the food manufacturing industry.

Our Story

Kim Yam Group’s consumer products division provides a global distribution service. It has fully incorporated products development, marketing strategies, advertising and publicity, supply management, as well as warehousing and distribution. Kim Yam has manifested a strong distribution network and currently distributes a great variety of Kim Yam’s own fast moving consumer products.

Over the years, Kim Yam’s strategic business planning and mission have made it possible to diversify its company to own its retail chain business successfully. This is to boost the accessibility of the company’s products to the customers.

Kim Yam has expanded its investment in agribusiness. The crops that are grown include: oil palm, Rubber tree, corn and durians. It has a team of agricultural scientists who are passionate in attaining the highest quality for its plantation. The experienced agronomists monitor the crop closely and apply fertilisers consistently to optimise crop yield.

Kim Yam is able to extract margins at every step of the value chain, thereby it offers a wide range of comprehensive supply chain solutions, warehousing, empty container depot, land freight container haulage, supply chain and cross-border solution transportation.

Kim Yam operates in reusable food grade take away plastic containers from thermoforming and injection moulding. It has a qualified and certified food safety management system to supply the products worldwide.
